November 28, 200916 yr Cards trailed by 18 in the second half, made great comeback to tie it with about 4 to play. One of the loudest crowds I've heard in a while. UNLV will be a top 25 team, they are undersized but really athletic. Hate to see the Cards lose, but I'm use to it. They lose a game like this every year, and this will be valuable experience. A true road game in a hostile environment. Knowles got hurt early and never returned. Could be a bad injury for the Cards if he can't return. Sosa 18 pts Buckles 10pts, 11 boards Jasper had 12 pts. Had a couple nice dunks.

Still not gonna hurt you shooting. Played forward a lot for them. This is a typical early season loss for the Cards. I really felt like they'd lose.

November 28, 200916 yr Cards need to improve on defense. I thought they reached a lot. UNLV shot the ball well and put the Cards in hole. Cards faught back. Sosa played well. Cards are young and this was a good learning game for the freshmen.
November 29, 200916 yr The Cards struggled to finish around the rim today. They crashed the offensive boards, but could not finish the 2nd chances. Samuels needs to be more aggressive especially on the defensive end. Hope Knowles is okay.

November 29, 200916 yr Good 4 DJ! Bad for UL! This is 1st time I have seen UL this year. WOW, some one loaded up on "buy one get one free tatoos", they must have passed out coupons to all the players. It is their bodies but man, that is a lot of natural skin injected with ink. To each his own. I hear Liggins(UK) has his own collection but he still hasn't had a chance to show them off. That must be a bummer. Can't see them through the warm-up.
