I saw where Bell County is giving up around 150 yards on the ground. Is that accurate and if so, how is that possible? Are those stats skewed or does everybody they play just completely run the ball all of the time? No one seems to score, but 150 yards on the ground, you'd think someone could punch it in at least once.

Bell Co. typically don't give up many big plays. I think thats a big key to it. If your going to score on Bell Co. its typically pretty mythotical. Also, Alcoa, Marion, and Whitley really piled up a lot of yards on Bell Co early in the year. Actually Whitley probaby would have scored another TD or 2, but fumbled a lot.

Also, can you explain the video taping deal? I didn't hardly understand the situation.

Most of the teams run and don't pass alot. They don't give up alot of big runs and bend but don't break D. It is almost here.

Still planning on pitching up the White EZ-UP tent in the parking lot behind the goalpost. (somewhere in that area). Everyone is welcome. I just hope the weather is not that cold. My goal is to set up around 5:00 to 5:30. Looking forward to seeing new faces and old friends. :thumb:

Alcoa and Johnson Central is really the only 2 teams to move the ball on the ground early against Bell this season. Most of those yards in the other games came in garbage time anyway.

Bell is not a team driven by stats in any way. They are worried about end results. They could set records, they could have RB's with 3,000 yards over the years. They just worry about the results.

Here is a stat, Coach French is 0-3 against Coach Hilton.

Good Point:thumb: I don't think any Bell Co team has been worried about the stats. I think that the only reason Shawn Robbins had so many yards was because it was the only running back they had. The last few years they have had more than one.IMO

Here's the year and teams:

1991 - Meade Co. in State game.

2007 - Lincoln Co.at Death Valley Bowl in Stanford.

2008 - Boyle Co.at Bell Co. semis.

So the question is,will Coach French win his first game vs Coach Hilton this Friday night?

We will find out not too long from now.Good luck and have a Happy Thanksgiving.:thumb:

This makes 3 years in a row that they have met. Going to be another great game.

I've got a set of Boyle County cornhole boards we can lay on as well. Complete with Black and Vegas Gold bags.

Sweet!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all. I agree, should be another great game. I am hopeful the Rebels will pull it out. If they do, Coach French will be remembered up here for this one.

Go Rebels, gitcha some!!!

I didn't mean it in a stats driven way, but if you guys are giving up 150 yards on the ground per game, I guarantee, Coach French will soon be 1-3 against Hilton.:D:popcorn:

That'll be the new end result.:thumb::popcorn:

Happy Thanksgiving.
