They saying hes going though a work out now.

Signing for the league minimum is a good thing for the Bengals. Low risk high reward.

I'm assuming this was already in the works before the Benson injury?

If they sign him, and Benson is healthy, that is a very physical 1-2 punch they'd have.

I'm not a big fan of this but Benson was getting way to many carries. We need someone else to take the load off him a litte bit.

Low Risk????? This guy has been a whiner and a complainer since Penn St. On top of that, his off the field distractions will not benefit this team in any way. Just when you think that the front office might have it figured out, you remember that Mike Brown owns this team. He needs to remember that he is running a professional franchise and not a boys' home.

I like it. Hip injuries are not something that goes away very easily, so I think its a good signing because we really don't know how long this will bother Benson. I know some people might not be happy with it because of his past, but remember people said the same thing when the Bengals signed Benson last year, and that seemed to work out pretty darn well.

I wasn't when I first heard it but for the prorated league minimum they almost had to.

I like the move keep Benson at 1, then a solid 2 RB.

I don't know, but the rookie looked very solid yesterday.

What could LJ possibly have to complain about?

He is coming to a first place team with the chance to play and surrounded by guys who have been in his position before.

And add to that Marvin Lewis didn't used to be a golfer, he is purely a football man.

Uh, yeah. Low risk. That's what that prorated league minimum is about. No one wanted to sign him for anymore because that would be too high of a risk. This way if he starts his off the field problema you lose practically nothing and just dump him.
