Look, there's alot of chippyness (if that's a word) between the fans of the teams, here's a chance to back yours. No more, no less.

Wrong on what? I asked when Votto had ever played LF. Westsider said he played a few games in the OF for the Bats. You pointed out that he may have played LF for the Canadian team, which consisted of 2 whole games.

Regardless, the point remains that Votto is a better option at first than at LF.

It's a word, but I'd probably change the "y" to an "i".

You want me to back my team with an avatar? Does that matter? We'll wait for the spread to come out and you can put your money where your mouth is.

Oh, I'm in. Chicken Little. I'll be here all day. Might want to stay close to your edit feature. Quid pro quo.

How am I Chicken Little? I took your bet. You are still Yellow Boy for not offering this deal the first game.

Denver @ Washington & Cincy @ Pittsburgh are the only 2 spreads which have not been released...

What a load of crap. I didn't see where you were so bold to post this when the Bengals played at home, but low and behold the Steelers are at home, and you just get up all kind of nerve. The Steelers should win this game. They are the defending Super Bowl Champs, have won five in a row, and are ready to pay back the Bengals for the choke job the Steelers pulled at Paul Brown Stadium in the first meeting. :ohbrother:

I agree this match up favors the Steelers and I think they will win.

BUT, I am in.

Denver @ Washington & Cincy @ Pittsburgh are the only 2 spreads which have not been released...

Which is typical because of the Monday night game. I know you know that, just want to inform the others.

The poor ol' Bengals...Pittsburgh is on a roll, playing at home, and the Bengals already beat them once...Cincinnati has no chance.

The Ravens were coming off a beatdown on Denver and had revenge on their minds after giving a game away late against Cincy...didn't seem to help them any.

Pittsburgh is playing well, but so is Cincinnati. You guys want people to give Cincy respect and acknowledge them as "for real", yet you betray yourselves by doubting the team heading into big games. Every season in the NFL is different, and based on 2009, the Bengals have proven to be just as good as Pittsburgh to date. They've proven they can win on the road. There's no reason to believe they can't win this week.

From what I can see, Bengals fans get upset when opposing fans doubt their team the same way they do themselves. My question is not when everyone else is going to become a believer in the Bengals. When will their own fan base be sold on this team?

You never know how any game will play out, but I've seen nothing yet to make me believe the Bengals have to play over their heads to win in Pittsburgh.

It should be a good game if both teams show up and play to their ability.

I am in.

Also in. I'm very confident. Let's look at some avatar options while were at it.
