November 10, 200916 yr I have hinted about it for a couple of weeks now. And since the last meeting when I called John Anthony out in the Bengal thread with an avatar challenge, heard crickets, then after the fact he tried to say I wouldn't have followed through on the deal anyway. Well, that's a load of manure. So, if we fans have have any hang me downs at all, let's lay it on the line with an avatar challenge this week. Bengals dismantle the Ravens at home, dominate the LOS and are sitting atop the division undefeated within it. Pittsburgh has reeled off 5 straight and went into Denver and minus 3 defensive starters only gave up 3 points. So, here's the deal, you must make your affiliation known (although, for most it'll be no secret) and whomever loses has to sport an avatar for the week following the game, through the next Sunday. We can use this thread or another one to go through some avatars and on Friday we'll vote on which avatar is at stake for the other. As my high school coach would say, "you ain't got a hair on your hindend" if you back down from this little old challenge. Don't let your alligator mouth override your hummingbird rearends. Just a few folk who should have the cahone's to participate (Good Lord it's only a week so we won't scare anyone off) Hammertime spindoc #5 Les (if he can take a break from his "life") Original Rookie John Anthony (you'd be my alligator in the above scenario) SSC Pancake TheDuece futurecoach theguru Blue Magic Jim Schue Bankshot ColonelCrazy bigblueinsanity LRCW There are many more, just listed some of the usual suspects and some who pretend to be "usual". So, here it is, let's see who has the sacajawea to participate.:ylsuper:
November 10, 200916 yr What a load of crap. I didn't see where you were so bold to post this when the Bengals played at home, but low and behold the Steelers are at home, and you just get up all kind of nerve. The Steelers should win this game. They are the defending Super Bowl Champs, have won five in a row, and are ready to pay back the Bengals for the choke job the Steelers pulled at Paul Brown Stadium in the first meeting. :ohbrother:

November 10, 200916 yr Sweep week for the Bengals...swept the Ravens, now it's the Steelers turn. I'm in:thumb:
November 10, 200916 yr I strongly agree w/ LRCW but I'm in. How many in a row have the Steelers won at home? I think the Bengals are fine on the road. It's when they're home I worry more.

I'm on the phone with him right now and he's whining about it. He's not much of a fan then is he? If this were a Reds thread, he'd be all over it.
November 10, 200916 yr Author I'm done arguing, either you're in or out. Simple as that. Call it what you like.

No, I don't think the Reds would beat the Steelers either, and you don't have nearly the home field in advantage in baseball that you do in football. You didn't have the guts to do this for the first meeting. Plain and simple. You were to yellow.
