November 9, 200916 yr Well neither of them should even be in the discussion IMO. However if I had to choose one of them for it, then I would say Tebow should get it over Pryor. I do think Clyde has a point in saying if Tebow is one of the favorites to win the Heisman, then so should Pryor. However Tebow really should not even be in the top 5 this year in my opinion. His reputation is the main reason he is a favorite for it IMO.
November 9, 200916 yr Pryor? You got to be kidding. He's not even the best QB in his conference. Who is?
November 9, 200916 yr Author The point is that you have to go with a lot of intangibles to name Tebow as the hands down winner over Pryor. Stats are similar. SOS is similar. If stats were end-all-be-all Hawaii might have a Heisman in their history.

November 9, 200916 yr Those 5 extra interceptions thrown by Pryor is what has the Buckeyes out of any BCS Championship talk at all.
November 9, 200916 yr Author How good your team is plays a big role in it as well, obviously. It can't be that big of a factor especially when your offense hasn't exactly shined this year.
November 9, 200916 yr Right now, I would say neither. BUT, given that there were only 2 choices, I would say Tebow.
November 9, 200916 yr It can't be that big of a factor especially when your offense hasn't exactly shined this year. It is though. I don't necessarily agree, but that is how it goes.
November 9, 200916 yr Pryor is not going to win the Heisman this year but I think its cool even see this thread started.
November 9, 200916 yr Pryor is not going to win the Heisman this year but I think its cool even see this thread started. It is way more to point out that Tebow doesn't deserve it than it is Pryor is actually in the discussion.

November 9, 200916 yr Doesn't matter to us. Whenever the almighty SEC people compare one ours to one of their legends its a compliment. He is being compared because Tebow is having a horrible season by his standards and the Heisman voting is a joke. You could insert about 50 other D1 QBs with just as good or better numbers and they are nowhere close to the Heisman discussion. Pryor is just another name.
