November 9, 200916 yr This really looks like the schedule of a mediocre team Jim? W 38-24 vs Kansas City W 31-26 @ San Diego W 34-3 vs Cleveland L 27-21 @ New England L 17-14 vs Cincinnati L 33-31 @ Minnesota W 30-7 vs Denver L 17-7 @ Cincinnati They were within inches of winning at New England and at Minnesota also.
November 9, 200916 yr On a side note, Boucher's avatar made me think of this, why don't the Bengals ever wear throwback's? Everyone else does, I'd love to see the old orange helmet. Didn't they do this like 5 years ago?

November 9, 200916 yr I know the Steelers still have two games left against Baltimore. So I wouldn't be calling them mediocre yet, unless your going to call Pittsburgh mediocre if they lose to them, which could happen. :sssh: I didn't realize all these Bengals are the same players that have played on all the losing teams from 1991... I have never understood how people can say these guys find ways to lose, when most of these guys haven't been around here that long. I mean the Bengals are the youngest team in the NFL when it comes to experience. So that means they have a lot of guys from college, who probably played on teams who won and are use to winning. As I been saying since the start of the season, years past mean nothing on any teams when it comes to the current season. It was easy to see at the very beginning of the season that this Bengals team is a different team and is a good team. Yeah just being 6 and 2 doesn't really mean to much now, since still a lot of season left to play. However this is a good team, and I don't know how you can keep saying otherwise if you have watched this team. I'd be willing to bet all of their players are from college.
November 9, 200916 yr One thing that really impressed me with our corners is they truly seemed prepared and jumped routes so quickly. They seemed to know exactly what route the Ravens receivers were going to run.
November 9, 200916 yr Author I'm thinking this loss nearly clinches Baltimore as a non-playoff team. With Cincy's remaining schedule and Pittsburgh playing well again, I don't think there's any way Baltimore can catch up. Especially since they have to play the Steelers twice still and the Colts. That to me looks like 3 losses.
November 9, 200916 yr Hall and Joseph are making a case for best corner duo in the league. A couple of first round picks well spent for those two guys.

Didn't they do this like 5 years ago? I heard that you can only wear 3 different tops for the year. They have black, white, and orange. They love the orange so they go w/ it instead of a throwback. I don't remember if 3 is a firm number or if you have to petition to wear a 4th, but I know there was a statement about loving the orange.

November 9, 200916 yr I said the other day that I didn't think the Bengals were better than the Ravens. The Ravens looked old during their 3 game losing streak, but looked really good against the Broncos. I think Cincy is better than Balt, which I thought before I saw the Ravens in preseason. cincy proved it by the sweep, congrats bengal fans...
November 9, 200916 yr In two games against the Ravens... Total yards Cincinnati - 772 Baltimore - 472 Time of Possession Cincinnati - 74:19 Baltimore - 45:41
November 9, 200916 yr Awesome win. What happened to Rivers? I didn't say that. I just said there's a lot of time left in the season, so Bengals fans need to avoid thinking they've already accomplished something. 6-2 & 4-0 in the division. That's accomplishing something. We have 8 games left. Bengals should be favored in at least 4 of them.
November 9, 200916 yr This was supposed to be a statement game for the Bengals but the only statement I saw was from Ravens. If I were picking them today I dont think the Ravens will make the playoffs.
