I am right there with you Henry! No disrespect to JC, it would definitely be nice to host you all as well...but I am pulling for a rematch next week. This of course is assuming the Birds take care of business this week against the Red Colonels.

I really don't like rematches. That would be the third one of the year. I like to play new teams. I wish no ill will to Covington Catholic, but I just like variety.

Interesting. I went back to look at the final predictions for this game in the 2d round last year and it was JC 63% vs CCH 37%. As of this posting, it is almost the exact opposite. Not as many folks have posted yet as did by game time last year obviously. Nevertheless, I believe that speaks to the optimism in the program now.

Also, Johnson Central was the 2nd highest scoring in 5A last year as they scored 550 points and gave up like 250. They were second only to Highlands. They were loaded and 10-1 going into he CovCath game.

CovCath has two (maybe three) student/parent/fans buses going down for this game, but I am wondering how many CovCath Moms and NDA girls will miss this game due to it being the NDA Mother-Daughter night out!
