Maybe we should get the name of Highlands' t-shirt silk screener. Load up on the "Beat Johnson Central (again)" and "Beat Cov. Cath (again)" t-shirts. Market both sides. We'll clean up.

I see a few keys to this game in order for Cov Cath to come out on top. On offense, they need to spread the ball around and not just 'lock on' to 1 or 2 receivers. When they have done this in the past, not only does it make the passing game more effective, but it also opens up the running game.

 

Defensively, they need to get tougher up the middle. They have unfortunately had some unexpected personnel changes up the middle on D, and hopefully with another full week of practice they can improve this area.

 

I agree with you here. I would have to say in particular, however, that the defense is much more of a concern than the offense this week. Let's just hope the brothers Connaughton can step up to the occasion.

Cov Cath should win since they played a more difficult schedule than Johnson Central throughout the season. Just like Ashland, who was 9-1 with one loss to Johnson Central, Ashland and Johnson Central played no 6A teams and are relatively untested. Dixie was able to dominate Ashland and so should Cov Cath dominate Johnson Central.

I got to give CCH the edge in this one. It seemed like their first teams are evenly matched, but it seemed like JC began to wear down as the game went on Friday night vs. Scott. Should be a high scoring game, but I think CCH should come out on top.

We lost our leading rusher in Chase Richardson, our QB in Dennis Dillon, and our very athletic WR Ian Welch. In addition we lost a few linemen off that team. Going to be a great game in Johnsonville!:ylsuper:

I'm torn, assuming Highlands beats Dixie this week and they get the opportunity to play next; I love the rivalry of a Highlands / Cov. Cath. match up, however, would really like to welcome Johnson Central to Highlands. It was entertaining last year at Johnson Central for Highlands fans and I would love to give them a taste of a little Highlands atmosphere.
