Zack Sowder IS Scott Eagle football.

He can play for any team in the state.

I completely agree.

True dat!

Congrats to JC. Good luck to Scott.

After tonights game, Zach Sowder is the first 2,000 yard rusher (for a season) in Scott High School History. He will go down as one of the best players ever to come through entirety of Scott football and athletes for that matter as well.

I don't think I've heard of a high school back getting so many carries. Mr. Sowder gets my vote for "Iron Man" player of the night...

Bellevue's Ricky Buckler toted the pigskin 49 times last week for 336 yrds against he Lloyd Juggaurnuts. Crazy....numbers.

So whats the excuse for Johnson Central's defense?

Coasting without injuries!!!

Sowder is an outstanding player. Glad to see he had a good night.

Very true!! I was impressed with his heart and determination. He would get hit and keep going and get hit hard and get up and go back to the huddle. Never once did he ever give up!

For any sport he wants. Consumate athelete. I'm guessing he never waited very long on the playground to be picked.

Well, well, well, Oneijoe. If CovCath can pull out a win today, it's a rubber match in Johnsonville! What motivation!!

That Johnsonville joke just keeps getting funnier!

I think there is a connection between NKY football and Mountain football that did not exist until Johnsonville. As my brothers from Paintsville know it was a slip of the tongue, but it has taken on an entity all to itself. Many from Park Hills will openly admit that a Friday night playoff game at Johson Central cannot be matched in the state. Don't want to hijack the thread about this as hopefully we'll have a new thread and a week to wear this rematch out. Congrats to the Golden Eagles on your big win and hopefully we can do our part. You guys don't want to have to beat up on Woodford County again do you?

Russel Poland had over 2000 yds

Just follow "the signs"...

Nice game for Scott but its going to be rough next year after lossing 20 seniors. Sowder is a great player and he will play at the next level if he choses to.
