I'm not defending him at all. All i'm saying is he isn't the only one doing this. I don't even like Florida. I can't stand them to be honest. Anyone who has played football knows this stuff is always done by some players.

The drunk driving example is perfect. After getting a DUI nobody would tell their kid that it's okay because it happens every night.

Should he be suspended? I think so. One of the dirtiest things I've ever seen on the field.

This probably happens 1,000 times a game from both sides. He just got caught on video.

 

This was my initial thought, as well. I played RB in high school and the number of times I was poked, gouged, spit on, kicked, pinched, punched, kicked and stepped on was ridiculous. That's just life on the bottom of the pile, IMO.

EXACTLY! That is what i'm trying to say as well. And who's to say that Spikes didn't take one in the eye the play before by that player. Maybe he was just returning the favor? Or maybe he is just a dirty player(which is what i'm leaning more towards).

Agreed. All I know is when the announcers use that old cliche, "you don't wanna know what's going on on the bottom of that pile..." they are absolutely correct.

Did anyone else see where Spikes and Tebow supposively got into a altercation in the lockerroom after the Miss. State game? And Urban won't suspend him he will use the play where Spikes had his helmet knocked off and got hit as an excuse.

I'm not sure what the big deal was. I'm sure Tebow healed the man's eyes after the play, anyways. :lol:

I know a lot of people don't like him, but Mike Golic was going off about this on his show this morning. He acted like this was awful and should not go unpunished, so I don't think it happens as much as some think.
