Dixie's QB, Wilson, has amassed over 2,200 yards this year…that aint chump change. One of the big questions for me is how much protection will his O-Line afford him this evening? Can he make good reads and execute consistently? Is Wilson purely a drop back passer or does he roll out well too?

I look for Coach Love to have something special for this challenging Dixie team. Tomcat corners and DB’s have a great opportunity to step up and deliver tonight….D Line needs to put relentless pressure up front…Backers need to own the middle.

With the numbers he has logged this season, I didn’t think Wilson would be one-dimensional. I am really looking forward to seeing this game…particularly the battle between QB’s.

Ram was talking about the parity amongst small and large schools in NEKY, and NKY wouldn't understand that as we're stuck on numbers. I disagreed with him saying that we also have small schools that can compete with our large ones. We simply don't look at school size as our basis for picking a winner.

I apologize if I offended you, or anyone else, I have just read a lot of posts that say things like, "Ryle should beat Beechwood, they are a 1A school", and " this team should not be ranked because they lost to a 2A school". Things like that. It just seems that everyone expects the larger school to win, and if the smaller school wins, it is derogatory to the larger school. Just stuff I have read.

Good luck to Ashland, all the Ram fans are hoping for a Tomcat victory. I will be keeping track of this game.

No offense taken. I think Boom was just a little confused based on my comments. He thought that I said your 1A/2A schools could compete with our 5A/6A schools, or the other way around, when I was talking only about the schools up here.

I don't know which I would rather do least tonight: 1)Try and tackle Haggerty in the open field; 2) Drive 55.1 miles per hours on U.S. 52 through Hanging Rock, Ohio; or 3) Wander onto the Dixie sideline with a video camera.

 

I like the Colonels to pull the mini-upset tonight.
