I would take the AA to US 23, at the end of the AA, and turn right. Drive into Ashland, aprx 15 miles. Turn right on 29th St, drive aprx 3 miles and you will see the stadium on the right.

May be a good thing that "Massey" isn't playing this game , Ashland and Dixie are and it is being played on a football field. Computer picks/rankings are for people like us with nothing better to do to look at.....really mean nothing when the teams line up across from one another. :thumb:

Personally, when coming to NKY, I was take the AA. From my house to PBS 2 hours and 30 min. Plus, it's a pretty easy drive.

An alternative: AA to US 23. But, cross the river when you come to US 23 (there is a bridge across the dam at Lloyd) turn right on US 52 in Ohio. There are no traffic lights on that side of the river (should save time as you have to go through Greenup, Raceland and Russell to get to Ashalnd on US 23 on the KY side). Cross back to KY at Ashland. At the foot of the bridge go stright, this is MLK Blvd - which turns into 13th street. Go to the top of the hill, past the community college (about 1/2 mile), and turn left on Blackburn Ave. Go about 1 mile on Blackburn, Putnam stadium is behind Verity Middle School which will be on your right. Parking is a problem, expect to park on residential side streets.

Didn't strike a nerve, just I don't see the Massey ranking having anything to do with it. I think that ranking gives you credit for loosing to teams that do well. Like for instance, Dixie got a lot of points for playing Highlands with Higlands beating Cinci St. X. Dixie would have got points for that no matter if they would have lost by 1, or if they would have lost 101. I only see a team getting credit for playing good teams if they win or play them closer then expected. But, that's just me.

AA to 23

cross the river when you come to 23 (the bridge is straight ahead at the intersection).

turn right on US 52 (in Ohio). US 52 runs parallel to the river all the way to the Ashland Bridge.

cross back to KY at Ashalnd

Thanks! I saw your post. Yahoo Maps has me pretty much starting out in Ohio. It doesn't even have me coming down AA. Therefore, when you posted 37 followed by 39, I wasn't sure if 39 meant to just start in Ohio like Yahoo Maps gives, or come down AA then go into Ohio (post 37).

I bet Massey didn't pick Mayfield to lose last week. I used to use Massey as some sort of measuring stick. But Anymore I just hate it, it's all computer based and no real world comparisons.

Dixie would get a boost in their strength of schedule by playing Highlands, for sure. Not sure how much credit they get by losing the game 52 - 9. Although I suppose that loss could be seen as a bigger ratings boost than beating Greenup Co 51 - 7.
