1st game of the season, great way to open the year.

Celtics win! :dancingpa

I really do enjoy watching the Boston Celtics play. I love the intensity of KG, how hard Rondo works, and the pure stroke of my favorite player Ray Allen.

I don't know what it is but I like Lebron but I don't like to see him succeed. It's weird. Maybe it's because I love Kobe.

Still very early obvioulsy but like I have said the Cavs are the 3rd best team in the East and will continue to be. I don't think Shaq does all that much for them.

I think if they stay healthy all year, the Magic and Celtics are clearly more talented than Cleveland.

That block Lebron had on Rondo was ill...

Shaq adds very little if anything to that team. He simply isn't the player he once was.

His block on Ray Allen was almost just as good.

I still think the Celts are the team to beat in the East if healthy. As far as the Cavs go, Shaq was a good addition but I think he's more valuable come June, still a marathon left.

There was a collective gasp from the Celtic bench when Shaq cross body checked KG in the lane in the 3rd. Of course KG got up thumping his chest like he did something spectacular. I like Ray Allen and Rondo. KG is okay. But not a fan of Paul Pierce. And my least favorite player of all time is Rasheed. I think the Magic represent the East.

You think...or you hope?

I'm not sold on Orlando with Vince Carter. I think last night was an Eastern Conference finals preview with the top two teams in the conference.

It's a moot point though, IMO. If Boston can stay healthy, they're the best team in the league and should hang another banner.

I think Orlando will win. I'd like to see Ray get another ring, he's my favorite player. So, I guess I should say I hope Boston wins despite my angst towards Wallace.

I think the Cavs will be fine. I don't see Orlando beating them with that revamped roster. I just don't see how you replace 3 starters who got you to the finals with VC and get better. The Magic won that series because of the mismatches, Lewis at the 3 and Carter at the two isn't going to produce the same kind of problems IMO.

On a good note, LeBron is averaging 38 points this year:lol:. I don't think the Cavs made enough moves to pass the Celtics or Lakers, but I think they beat anyone else head to head in a playoff series this year, with the exception of maybe the Spurs.

I'm hoping for a repeat, of course, but I honestly don't see anybody beating this Boston team in the post-season if they're healthy. With KG in the lineup, their defense will be the difference...Rasheed just makes them better across the board. To me, Boston getting him was the biggest addition of the off-season. He'll allow them to rest KG more, gives them another solid post-defender and shot blocker, he can post up, shoot threes, and he's a very, very smart basketball player. Plus, he's not a guy who demands the ball...he doesn't care about points, so he should integrate into the rotation nicely.
