Penn St. fan here....

UC is better than Iowa.

UC deserves BCS game before USC.

Should be no discussion.

If USC runs the table, absolutely not.

Wins @Ohio St, @Notre Dame, @Cal and @Oregon.

Loss @ 3-5 Washington...

I really hope USC losses this weekend!

Loss @ 3-5 Washington...

Really? I didn't know that

Those four wins outweigh that loss by a lot. Oh yea, they beat mighty mighty Oregon State too.

I can live w/ people saying Iowa should be in front of UC. I disagree, but I could live w/ it. IMO anyone who says that should then have UC in front of USC. I think UC is better than Iowa and USC is better than both of them, but USC should be ranked behind both of them or UC should be in front of Iowa.

They beat mighty Oregon State by less points at home than UC did in Corvallis. Winning in Corvallis is cake. Just ask USC.

And Washington is not good, so I find overlooking that loss a total joke..

Winning on the road is tough and USC has the better looking schedule on paper, but when is the last time oSU beat anyone good? Anyone? Why do teams still get credit for a good win even when people don't think oSU is any good? oSU won't even come down here to play UC to hold up their end of a contract they signed b/c they know UC has improved too much. I'm tired of teams getting credit for "good" wins b/c they beat Penn St. and Ohio St. Until those teams stop beating also rans and Big 10 teams only that shouldn't count as a big win. Michigan has a chance to save that conference and I think they will, but the Big 10 is playing a different brand of football than most of the rest of the big schools. The BCS is becoming more of a joke every year.

USC still deserves to be in over UC in that scenario. Tough schedule with a loss is better than so-so schedule and undefeated. Pac10 > Big East. USC chose to play a really quality program OOC, UC didn't. Oregon State shouldn't be the highlight to anyones season, let alone a team wanting to get into the BCS Title.

A loss is a loss. And a loss to a BAD team is worse. Any way you slice it, they still got beat by a VERY inferior opponent yet it seems to count for nothing. Total joke. And that Ohio State win lost a lost of luster when the Buckeyes crapped down their pants against Purdue. Another bad team in case you missed it...

Talk about the points they won by if you want, but USC dominated the game against Oregon St more than UC did, we both know that.

Who is saying we should overlook it? Fact is USC would have four better wins than UC and also beat the team that is UC's best win. I find overlooking that a joke.

Notre Dame and Ohio State aren't that good. USC is smart enough to schedule teams w/ big names that aren't as good as they are, and teams want to play USC. Nobody wants UC on their scheule. I'm not saying it's b/c they're too good, but it doesn't help the other school. If they win they should have. If they lose they shouldn't have.

UC has played no one. They can't cry if they don't get into the title. Step up and go somewhere significant.

Notre Dame isn't that bad. OSU isn't as bad as the Purdue game. I'm sure Alabama, USC, Oklahoma are just terrified of UC.
