GREAT job by the Raceland Rams tonight and what a win for senior night!!:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa

Rail Cities Bowl #3 goes to the Rams as the Rams win their 2nd straight over the Red Devils.

Absolutely great job by Raceland's QB Tyler Farley and Jeremy Barr along with the Shearer (spelling?) kid. QB T. Farley used up to 7 or 8 recievers to spread the ball around and pick apart the defense. Raceland owned the 2nd half of this game with the ORANGE CRUSH Defense supplying th hits. Raceland imo out hit and was the more physical team tonight, the Russell radio crew along with Coach McGlone said this as well. Barr and Farley on offense (along with Barr's running a his excellent defensive play (key pick in the endzone to seal the win). I can't say enouh about Raceland's coach Vanderhoof,Maynard and the entire coaching staff! These coaches installed a great game plan for this game and our players went out and EXECUTED!!

I believe that Tyler Farley threw for over 300 yards tonight and was awarded the games MVP award. This imo could have easily had gone to Jeremy Barr as well.

Congrats again to the Rams and also congrats to Russell on a good effort and a well played game. Russell's T. Jones had another very good game as expeted.

Russell's radio people said Farley threw for 330. Rams hold Russell to a total of 239 yards.

Congrats to the Rams, who are obviously much improved from the beginning of the season.:thumb:

Wasn't Russell up at half?

Yes, I believe they were up by one.

This one was the first time that we have had a healthy Jeremy Barr all season, he didn't play untill week 6 or 7 I belive and was not at full strength vs. Fairview or LCA. Needless to say Jeremy will be a huge boost for us in the playoffs.

Congrats to a good team. Keep things rolling!

Jeremy Barr took over this game! This is the best game Raceland has played all season. If we played like that all season we sure wouldn't be sitting at 6-4 thats for sure.

And yes it was Russell 15-14 at the half.

It's a great day to be a RAM.

Congrats to our Rams for their win over the Devils.

Barr definitely looked good tonite. Looking forward to seeing him play again.

I just got off the phone with a good friend and very knowledgeable football man and he said Raceland just out muscled Russell and played well diciplined, hard hitting football. Also, I was told this was the J. Barr that we have been waiting on all season, the kid has had one tough year being injured in pre season and working hard to get back. Who knows what our record could have been with him healthy all season. I feel that Raceland certainly would have won the Fleming and GCHS games but that is in the "if a frog had wings" territory . We have him healthy now when it counts and thst is what matters.
