October 23, 200916 yr An added argument for Kelly is that UC lost 10 starters on defense and an all-american punter. In the preseason rankings, they were picked 3rd or 4th in their conference. :thumb: UF, UA and TX are were they were expected to be. UC is not. My vote would be for BK at UC.
October 23, 200916 yr Shannon and Rich Rod were in tough situations. Rich Rod was taking over one ofthe best programs in America. His style of offense is foreign to Michigan's fan base so he has been fighting an up-hill battle since day one. After last seasons struggles, the controversy earlier this season and the overall youth of his team, what he has accomplished is amazing. If UM doesn't run him off, I think he will bring some Big 10 Titles and likely a National Title or two in Ann Arbor. Shannon had the job to clean up "Thug U". Players and the program got out of hand with Coker. Shannon has cleaned up the program, and has the Canes a year or two ahead of schedule. The U isn't completely back, but this is the most legit they have been in a few years.

Ahead of USC? No win that UC has this season is shocking. The only game that I thought they would lose so far was USF, and clearly they are better than them. Who have they played that was suppose to beat them? Rutgers may have been favored but that's a joke, IMO. I think if you looked at what Brian Kelly has done and built at UC, and took the schedule a game at a time this wouldn't be shocking. They replaced 10 starters, but don't they have alot of guys on defense who have some starting experience returning?
