How would you grade the facility and the overall organization of the league?

 

The facility is top notch. It has the same design as The Fieldhouse up in Indy. It is only $2.00 for adults 18 and over. The league seems to be run fine so far. I like it because of the different surroundings and teams..:thumb:

How did the Rockets vs Warriors 8th Grade game go?? Was a big match up in the 8th Grade division.

The Omega Rhinos u12 stayed undefeated with two more league game wins at McGee's.. They defeated the Lakota Thunderbirds and MBA Elite...The Rhinos also stayed and picked up another game for a team that no showed..Omega won that game also..They are now 7-0 on the season..:ylsuper:

8th Grade division tournament. Jets lost to Rockets first round of the double elimination tournament. Jets won 4 games today in the losers bracket to get to the championship vs Rockets tomorrow at 830am.

 

Jets had to beat Gators @ 830am today, then Warriors at 3pm, then 8th Grade Knights at 720pm, then first finals game vs Rockets @830pm. CHAMPIONSHIP: NKY JETS vs NKY ROCKETS --------Teams are 2-2 in competition this season.

Jets won the championship game by 3. They came all the way through the losers bracket after losing to the Rockets in game 1. Finished the season 3-2 vs the Rocekts. A great rivalry has evolved.

I believe these boys will play at St. Henry and Boone County. It's a combination of Ockerman, St. Paul and IHM.

I've heard that the Jets will be playing in the 2nd Winter SOAS Session. Will they be playing any tournaments? They need to try to find the U14 Tar Heels and/or the U14 N. KY Knight and see how they matchup. These two U14 teams are the measuring stick in the N. KY area.

RUSH, you are talking about another "planet" when you involve these teams. Those two teams teams play on an entirely different level than any team at SOAS. Apples & Oranges IMHO.

No, the Jets were beat twice by the U13 Knights (moeves) the other U14 Knights team in the SOAS league is the Wendling team. There is another Knights U14 team (Gieman) that did not play in the SOAS league. They are only playing tournaments.

 

The Jets are a solid team. It would be a good test for them vs U14 Knights (Gieman) or the U14 Tar Heels (Pouncy).

Congratulations to the Jets. there was a lot of talk earlier in the season about the 2 Knights teams and not a whole lot of love given to the Jets and the Rockets. Net/Net these 2 teams played well in the tourney and made it to the finals. I heard the Brossart kid set the tone in the finals. Once again congratulations to he Jets.
