This game is going to be a war! It could become one of those games fans talk about for years. Both teams have obvious strenghts and obvious weaknesses. What team will be coached up enough this week to take advantage of the others weakness.

 

I think everyone who follows football will give the edge to Beechwood, but there is one huge factor that I think will push the favor to Bellevue, FIELD CONDITIONS! Beechwoods speed will get neutralized in the mud and Bellevues big hogs and piglet up front will take advantage in the trenches.

 

If you like high school football you need to go to this game that is for sure.

 

Oh yeah hey front row did you hear any stats for Wills agaisnt Ludlow? I watched it on TV I think he was 5-8 or 9 105 yards one TD, and had about 60-70 yards rushing and 1 TD.

I have seen some box scores for Bellevue this season. Hegge has had 2 or 3 INT'S for TD'S. What position does he play?

 

Outside Linebacker, Slot Receiver. He's a tough kid, could be the difference maker.

I agree that Bellevue is not a one man show. I think they have 2 or 3 skill players that could do damage.

If Beechwood focuses strictly on Buckler then Bellevue has several other weapons they can use. The Alex Hegge kid has some great hand along with Nick Evans. Out of the backfield with Buckler you have DJ Slater and the Sullivan kid. And when you go to sleep thinking here comes Buckler again they pop the fullback Travis Lyvers for a long run. I know BW has some weapons but so do the Black and Gold Tigers. Bellevue may be more balanced then most think. Everyone looks at Buckler's stats and thinks he must carry the ball 30-35 times a game when he actually only averages 24 carries a game. The Offense is averaging just under 400 yards a game and he is averaging just over 200 yards a game so there is a lot of others producing yards.

I caught the replay this weekend. He looked good. Ran well and threw some very accurate passes.

 

Don't get me wrong, I am a Bellevue fan. I graduated from there many moons ago. The Tigers will need that kind of performance every week from him and not just be a hand-off quarterback.

I think Wills has progressed nicely this year. He has gained confidence with each game and has worked very hard to get better each game. Keep up the good work Richard and all will be fine in the end. He has always done a good job in running the offense now he is producing with his running and passing ability that he has work so diligently to improve.

Take Riveria Drive until it dead-ends into Donnemeyer (Danato's Pizza and McDonalds will be on your left)
