I think that Beechwood thinks that if they shut down the Buckler kid that they have this wrapped up, but Bellevue has more than just one athlete on that team. Dont rule the Black and gold tigers, Beechwood will have there hands full with this one. What I want to know is why isn't this the game of the week and on ICN6?

Beechwood blows out Bellevue by 3 or 4 td's!!!

I don't think anyone one here has said Bellevue wouldn't have their hands full. BW is the champions until beaten by another Class A team. I personally am hoping that is Friday but if not I wish them well and we will look forward to a possible playoff rematch.

 

BTW Ryle blows Boone out by 4 TD's. Boone can't handle the little Brother of the former BW great.

District 3 which is (1/2) Bellevue, (1/2) Beechwood, 3 - Ludlow, 4 - Dayton(?) will play District 4 Which looks like it will be 1 - Frankfort, 2 - Eminence, 3 - Gallatin, 4 - Trimble

 

D3 first place will play D4 fourth place

D3 second place will play D4 third place

D3 third place will play D4 second place

I think your district plays ours. They would both have first round games at home then the second place team will probably be at Frankfort for the second round. Then I think your district will host the regional championship. I could be wrong, but don't think I am.

I think you are correct. I wasn't overlooking Frankfort or any other team in your district. Just answering the question if they could meet again. They can but will have to go through some very good teams first.

I like Bellevue in this one on their home field.

 

Keys to them winning IMO.

 

1. Contain the Beechwood QB Rigdon

2. Ball control -keep it out of explosive Beechwood offense's hands.

3. Play with no fear and leave it all out there.

4. Catch a break and get a short field off a turnover.

5. No mistakes (fumbles or INT's or stupid penalties)

 

You gotta believe you can win and I know Beechwood has owned Class A for the last 15 yrs for the most part but this is the year the Black n Gold Tigers can knock em off. They did it on the same field in 2005 with Lincoln Adams and the boys.

Be careful what you wish for. You may not want either team when it's all said and done. Besides I think their past records earns the respect of everyone. As far as the love from the west, they can probably do without.

I wouldnt say they are overrated but they are not loaded in the SR/JR class like most years. They have some great skill players and I do mean very very good. Rigdon/Vocke/Colosimo are a very deadly running combination and need to be contained.

 

If Bellevue can go double tights and sustain long drives keeping the ball out of BEechwood's hands they have a chance.

 

There are a lot of Beechwood sophomores who are developing into nice players for Beechwood. Staton is a fierce hitter at LB for the defense and they have a 6'4 DE soph I forgot his name but he is a very good pass rusher and tackler. Bellevue will have their hands full but if they get a big crowd, wet field and do not turn it over they have a good chance.

Everett is the soph DE whose name you were looking for. Beechwood also has another 6'4" soph DE, Corey Cruse, who has been playing more and more at the other end as the season has moved forward.

Beechwood is Beechwood even on a down year. I still think Beechwood will win with ease.
