No doubt their has been some outstanding two way starters at Beechwood over the years. I was actually trying to give them a compliment about how many outstanding athletes they have had over the years. How this got off track I don't know. With that being said BW has been blessed with enough good players that they have been able to have less two way starters than most Class A High Schools. This is not a Bad thing. It would be nice if year in and year out Bellevue was blessed with these kind of numbers.

 

:thumb: Nice post. Beechwood does have some exceptional athletes and year in year out. Bellevue seems to have waves of these types of athletes and they struggle to have it consistently on a yearly basis.

Well that's because Bellevue doesn't have any tuition students that play sports. I would love to know how many tuition students Beechwood has on a yearly basis that play sports. Does anyone have any figures? :idunno:

Keep winning and keep improving the academics and players will want to play for Bellevue also. There are a lot of good things happening at Bellevue. In fact, I think there are one or two players for this year's Bellevue team that came over from other districts to play there. Keep it going because Beechwood wants the competition.

I hope it stops raining. I want to see this game, but do not wish to sit there if it is raining?

 

Secondly, as for all the advantages/disadvantages in playing in the rain, both teams have to play in it, so you have the same risks of slipping and fumbling.

 

Hopefully Bellevue comes out inspired and plays a hard nosed, north-south kind of game and walks away with the win.

The rain is supposed to decrease as the day goes on. This evening there is only a 30% chance decreasing to 20% as the evening progresses. Scattered showers for tonight. Take a towel to wipe the seat and a poncho/umbrella in case one of the scattered showers goes over the stadium. If the kids can play in it, you can watch it and support them!! This game deserves a packed stadium regardless of the weather.

I wonder if Bellevue has considered moving the game to Saturday?

You probably do not want to know the answer to this. It is not near as much that most make it out to be. The true answer would not make the stories told sound very good. I do not have the exact answer so I will not put a number. It is not very high.
