Rockmom loses it in a McDonalds.

A couple of weeks ago at the McDonalds In Middlesboro I got a Big Mac with no pickles , I paid for it at the 1st window and at the second window they pulled me up because they was a couple of cars behind me and they forgot about me , so about 15 minutes later I went in and as they was handing out big macs left and right I had to show them my receipt before they finally gave me my sandwich with pickles on it that I can't eat.

I'll never let them or any other restaurant pull me around if they can't keep up it's not my fault.

Then don't go to Culvers, because they do it to every car almost. It takes a little longer for them to make a sandwich, but they make a darn good one!

It's an epidemic here in Middlesboro, with pulling cars around. All the restaurants here seem to do it now. At BK, I was once pulled up to wait on my food around 9:30 at night and not another car around for miles. I've also have been pulled up and the employer beat me where they told me to park. It's ridiculous and it drives me crazy. Back 100 years ago, when I worked in restaurants, we had to keep up.

I understand why Culvers does it because it takes them a little longer to make the food. They have ALWAYS done it that way.

Other fast food joints have not.

I will not pull my car around. I shut my window right after giving my money, and pretend that I don't hear them.

If I had wanted curb service I would go to Sonic. Don't have a drive-thru if you cannot get the order on your menu to the customers in a timely fashion for a drive-thru.

So you won't pull forward even at a place like Culvers, where that's simply how things work?

It didn't actually happen to me.....but I'll post it anyhow.

While I was deployed this latest rotation, my son spent some time with his uncle in Georgia. They go fishing, and all that good stuff. They stop off at a Hardees, go in, and order a meal to go. When they get out to the truck, my brother in-law (BI-L) opens his bag and burger to find mayonaise slather all over it. Way more mayo than a person should consume. So, he goes back in to the Hardees and talks with the person at the counter (who did not make the sandwich). My BI-L asks, "Does this look like a burger someone would eat?" To which the clerk responded with, "I didn't make the sandwich sir, there's nothing I can do about it." My BI-L then sees the burger maker guy in the back snicker and laugh at him, so my BI-L heaves the burger past the clerk and at the burger maker guy who dodged the burger, but was left with a nice mess of mayo to clean up. My BI-L walked out.

Later.

I sent my comments in. Now, I'll await the response and be sure to let you guys know what it is (if any).

My boss has a sign in there office.

Three Rules

1. The customer is always right

2. The customer is always right

3. The customer is always right

If you want to lose money, "the customer is always right." I believe in good customer service but you can't go overboard with satasfying the customer.

So based on ONE sentence about ONE certain situation, I shouldn't work with the public in the future? Seriously? You can't make that kind of assumption based on one sentence. In the grand scheme of things, that one sentence told you almost nothing about how good I am at working with the public.
First of all, I didn't say you shouldn't, I said you might want to consider not working with the public.

In the grand scheme of this thread, it told me a lot. I didn't put words in your mouth or anything, I went on what you said, I only had that to go on. As far as how good of a worker you are with the public, I don't know, so I'll take your word for it. I have no reason to think you would lie about it.

I would think you can understand how people took your comment wrong, it was the way you came across to us. You really can't blame us for that.

Depends on the industry, market and competition.
