Arm Chair QB Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Here is mine. 1. Florida (till someone beats them, you got to keep them here) 2. Alabama (Maybe the best team in the country, but can they win out?) 3. Texas (Sloppy, sloppy win against a weak Colorado team = drop in poll) 4. Virginia Tech (Lost to a great Bama team, very hot now) 5. Boise St./Iowa (Boise has to get some respect. However, Iowa is beating much more impressive competition on a weekly basis. If Iowa can win against Wisconsion and Mich St., they will be a solid, legitimate top 4 team going into a showdown against Ohio St.) What say you?
Ram Fan04 Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 I agree with what you have for the most part. I really don't think Iowa is better than USC, Or even Miami. But they have the second longest winning streak in college football right now. Last time they were beat was Nov 8 of las year by Illinois. So I guess from a BCS standpoint they might jump several spots in the rankings.
CatsCatsCats Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 1. UF 1a. Bama 3. Texas 4. Virginia Tech 5. Boise
ACHS Baseball Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 1. Florida 2. Alabama 3. Virginia Tech 4. USC 5. Texas
thebigfella23 Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Florida. -Until they lose they are the best team in the country. Bama. -Starting to pick things up it's going to be an interesting SEC championship. Texas. -A wins a win. VT. -Really expploding and playing good football. NHS BIG DADDY Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Dang Iowa is getting alot of votes on here! Makes me feel good about the young Wolverines future! Well if Iowa is top 5 then Arkansas St must be top 10 then. No way in hell Iowa is top 5. Another way overrated Big 10 squad.
SPORTY GUY Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Florida and Alabama a very close 1 and 2. Texas 3 Virginia Tech 4 and Cincinnati 5. Really all that matters are Gators and Bama because winner of SEC championship will be the national champ. Think Gators will win that game in a close one.
bigblueinsanity Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 1. Florida 2. Alabama 3. Virginia Tech 4. Texas 5. USC
Alabama Larry Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 NHS, Iowa beat Penn State at their place and handled them pretty good. Ark State played well but Iowa beat them. I voted for my top 5 with teams that haven't lost a game.
