If you let the politician run the war we will surely loose. Appeasement might win you a Nobel Peace Prize, but it won’t win a war.

Theodore Roosevelt won the 1906 prize for his role in ending the bloody 1905 war between two of the world's great powers, Japan and Russia. The result was the Treaty of Portsmouth signed by Russia and Japan on September 5, 1905, at Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Well deserved. Woodrow Wilson won the 1919 prize in recognition of his Fourteen Points peace program and work in achieving inclusion of the Covenant of the League of Nations in the 1919 Treaty of Versailles at the end of World War One. Well deserved. Obama won the prize "for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples". :puke: He gave a speech that has, thus far, had no impact on anything! He's done NOTHING to be awarded this! Absolutely NOT deserved.
October 9, 200916 yr The hostility just amazes me ...Hostility? No, just disappointment that someone that truly deserved this award was passed by for someone that didn't deserve it. And it's hilarious that there are those that have drank so much of the Obama Kool-Aid that they won't admit what a joke this makes of the Nobel Prize.
