Would the committee then chose the next person in line? Maybe, maybe not. After hearing his speech on the matter, I think that he did the right thing. He doesn't deserve the honor now. However, he can live up to it in the future. I absolutely think that he should donate all of the prize to charity and believe that he will do so.

The heck with the fact that the Giants beat my Cowboys in the playoffs 2 seasons ago, they had "potential" to be the Super Bowl winner. I say strip the Giants of their well deserved title and give it to the Cowboys... :banana: I know, I'm comparing sports to the Nobel Prize too, it was the first thing that came to mind. Off the top of my head, I know that when Alexander Solzhenitsyn won the Nobel for Literature, the government of the Soviet Union refused for him (he wasn't really given the choice) and Hitler made it illegal for Germans to accept the prize. There is at least one voluntary refusal: Jean-Paul Sartre declined the Literature award. I think there are more.
