Hatz, don't forget about the Gators, we lost that one too. So maybe you are right and I was wrong about my quote you brought forth. I also said we will lose some games some day...who do you pull for?

The rest of the week I'll choose just to read comments, not unless someone has a question. I hate to be quoted and you will never see me quote someone on any site.

I've got to say that I did not think they looked too ready to play against Utah in the Sugar Bowl last year.

I think that the Sugar Bowl was a weird game. Bama was down after not making the title, and Utah was riding sky high. Utah had nothing to lose and everything to gain, Bama really had nothing to gain considering they were one quarter away from playing for the title. It's kind of hard to get up for a bowl game after that, no matter if it's a BCS game or not. JMO though.

Last year UK kept it close in Tuscaloosa....Different story this year

Alabama 31

UK 7

The Bama offense isnt nearly as explosive as Florida's offense. Their defense, however, may even be a little better than UF. UK will obviously need a few breaks in this one but that isnt out of the question. Bama comes in against a team that just got destroyed last week playing on the road. I think UK has a legitimate shot in this one but I sure wouldnt bet the farm. Ky plays better but it's still not enough...Bama 31 UK 20!!

I don't know, Bama's offense has looked pretty good. They have playmakers at WR, something UF doesn't have. I don't know that Bama's RB's aren't a little better overall than UF's either. I'll take Tebow and UF's line, but offensively these teams are about even IMO. That is at least so far. I will say that UF has a lot more big play potential, speed wise in their running game because of Demps and Rainey, but the Tide can put up the points as well.

Bama in my opinion is the best team in the country right now! I think Bama beats Florida in the SEC championship and goes to face Texas for the big one!

With that said Bama is going to treat them as if they were someone like Florida. Come out hard and strong. They know Hartline is a weak QB so they will bring pressure from the get go. Trying to cause a TD off of a turnover to take the wind out of the Cats quick. The Tide wants to make a statement in this one saying they are just as good or better than Florida.

Seems like some were brave last week in picking the upset, not seeing any of those around right now. UK needs to try and keep this a low scoring game like last season's match-up was. That is really the only way that UK has a chance to keep it close. Alabama's defense is amazing and they very well may shutout the Cats. Hopefully we can exploit some potential special teams weaknesses like Alabama Larry was talking about, and maybe even force some type of defensive turnover and score. I'm going to say UK's defense plays pretty well and keeps the score down, but Alabama is just too much.

Kentucky 10

Alabama 24

Kentucky needs to have 2 or 3 really big breaks/big plays to go their way to stay in the ballgame. With that said, I'll be there rooting them on. Go Big Blue!

Alabama is playing way too well right now to let this one get close, McElroy is starting to look good, Julio Jones has broken his TD slump and Alabama has the best trio of running backs in the country. Oh yeah and they can play some defense as well.

Bama 42

UK 3

Again I'll say this the game will be closer than I'm seeing on here and Bama boards. We have Ole Miss next week at their place and I'm hoping we are not over looking the Cats, in saying that I wished the Cats had played better in the opening quarter against the Gators.

31 1st quarter points Xs 4 is what? 62 at the half? 93 after 3? final 124

Cats will not see the speed of the Gators in Bama.

Bama wants to run up the middle and use clock, not many long passes, again see speed.

I'm getting to go with the help of some Tidefans.com brothers/sisters.

This will be the 07 version of the UK/LSU game...

Bama 24...

OT...

Adopted Admiral, as much as I would love to see the cats pull off the win, I just don't think it's possible this season. like someone else said here UK's QB can't handle the pressure and Bama know's it, they are going to be in his face all day long. UK's offense has got to gain some yards and get a few 1st downs in order to allow the defense time to rest, but i got a feeling it's going to be a long day for the defense.
