September 27, 200916 yr I can barely stomach the onslaught of Facebook acquaintences that are celebrating Tebow's injury. It makes me embarrassed to be a UK fan. That is the main reason I even started the discussion the way I did. It simply amazes me how low people can get. And I even posted myself how low it was and such. And had people telling me I wasn't a "true UK fan".
September 27, 200916 yr Tebow is a class act, and a great football player. The UK fans *the ones on my facebook in particular* who are celebrating a concussion are sad and letting the obvious envy and jealousy cloud their judgment. UK just got flat out slaughtered, and unfortunately some people will celebrate anyways because of Tebow being knocked out. Ick.
September 27, 200916 yr UK needs a new QB... I think UK will ride with #5 for the next few games. I'm not sure if they're convinced using Newton or Mossakowski is worth the loss of a year of eligibility.

September 27, 200916 yr I can barely stomach the onslaught of Facebook acquaintences that are celebrating Tebow's injury. It makes me embarrassed to be a UK fan. Was watching the game at a local sports bar tonight and was shocked (well not totally) at how classless the UK fans were when Tebow went down. I thought one girl was going to get up on the table and dance?? Her boyfriend then stood up and fist pumped much later when they showed him leaving in the ambulance. Instantly turned our tables into Gator fans!! Simply embarassing as a UK fan and one with kids at the University. Win with class and lose with class!! Now I see why so many fans of other programs look at UK fans with such distaste; and portray them as "blinded by the blue", classless and ignorant. I realize it's the few condeming the many in most cases, but the "few" are far appear to be way too many after tonight's exhibition and the confirmation on here?? Weak IMO!! :puke:
September 27, 200916 yr I figure they would only redshirt one of them, do you think they will redshirt both? Good question. I was just having that conversation with someone and on one hand I see them splitting the two up into separate classes. My guess is Mossakowski is a definite RS for this year. Newton?
September 27, 200916 yr Why is Hartline shouldering so much blame? Florida ran for over 300 yards. Hartline could have played like Peyton Manning and it would not have mattered. My question is where is Micah Johnson?

It would be a hard sell to land a top QB in the next two classes if they redshirt both...
September 27, 200916 yr Did anyone catch it when Bob Davie said that Tebow probably used some "different" language when he delivered that message? I found that odd that Tebow, who is a great Christian leader, would be described as using such foul language. Anyone else catch that? I sure did and I don't beleive Davies at all. I just don't think Tebow would use language like that. I feel that Davies was out of line and just "assuming", he wasn't down there. . That suprised me out of Davies, he is usually not like that but that imo was uncalled for.

My question is where is Micah Johnson? I've been saying for a long time Micah is out of position way too often, he makes more tackles 10 yards down field than any linebacker in the SEC...

September 27, 200916 yr This is not a good UK team. From where me and my group sat it wasn't even that UF played that well. UK didn't give themselves a chance to win the game. No first downs for much of the first half, penalties, blocked punt for a TD. You can't win like that whether you play Florida or Florida A&M. I cannot stand Tebow, but I do hope that he is okay. It was a very nasty, but clean hit, IMO. Here's to wishing him a speedy recovery. Offensively, I still think UF has some problems, but if they can run for that many yards on their quality upcoming opponents they will be fine.

But, IMO, cursing wouldn't automatically make you not a Christian. I'm sure Tebow isn't always a saint.
