September 26, 200917 yr Author Tech is a totally different team at home and they are a vindictive squad any year. You talk all week about how some team coming in is just superior and you can bet the Hokies will bring things out of the bag that you never expect. Miami has a very good team but all the hype based on two games (the FSU win looks a little less impressive now than last week) was a little much when you realize that Tech has really dominated the ACC in the last few years. Just think how ugly this game would have been if Tech didn't have such a terrible defense and offense.
September 26, 200917 yr The thing people don't realize about this Tech team is that they are so young. The more they play the better they are going to get. Their not bad right now, but still a lot of room for improvement.

September 27, 200917 yr I have disliked Miami since they had all those good teams back in the 90's but I have to admit that I have been pulling a little for them this year. They are very good but not hardly ready to make the leap into being a top 10 team...not yet!
September 27, 200917 yr Really thought Miami would win this game. How often do teams go into Lane Stadium in Blacksburg, Virginia and win? I thought all of this "Miami is back, Miami will win at Virginia Tech" talk was a bit premature.
