I am a UL fan. I am picking UK to win because they are the better team this year.

I would say UK 31 UL 10. Having said that, I didn't watch a play of UL last week and I'm speculating a lot.

 

I hope RockMom doesn't gamble if she always predicts only the team she wants to win, but if she does, i'll PM my number and we can bet on EVERY UL game this year.

The Cards didn't show everything against ISU. Knew if they put on their pants right they would win. They have 2 weeks to break down the film and work on mistakes.

 

The Cats after the first quarter were worried and began to play better against Miami Ohio.

 

Cards have some players on Offense and the cats D isn't as strong as last years. I see a close game, but again I'll wait. Kicking game might be a key.

 

I pull for both teams and like to see the Cats undefeated when they play us...(Gators first) Hoping Coach K does well, nice person.

I remember picking UL to win 4 years ago and just hoping that UK would put up a good fight. Then one busted coverage and a Woodson to Johnson TD changed a lot. My have times changed since then. UL was highly ranked and a HUGE favorite in that game, and even diehard UK fans like me picked the Cards to win. I was glad to be wrong that day. I certainly hope that UL doesn't pull a 'turnabout is fair play' moment and pull the upset. I know that UK is the better team, but UL was supposed to be the better team that season. That is why this game actually makes me very nervous.

My Heart says UL wins. (3-0)

 

My Gut and brain says UK in a big one. (if you know me my gut is bigger than my heart)

I am a UK fan but I can't see any reason to pick UK big. They should win and hopefully they will but they have proved nothing to pick them big against anyone. Now if they go out and really whip up on UL that will be just fine and prove they are a lot better this year.

I think they proved that they can beat a team they were picked to beat by 15 points worse than most thought (42-0). As a UK football fan my entire life, this is something that rarely happens, even if the opposing team is bad like Miami appears to be this season. However, this game makes me nervous because it is UL and you KNOW that the kids at UL want to prove that the program is back on the way up. I think UK wins, but not as big as some may think and as others (like myself) may hope. A shutout win would be a wonderful statement by the UK defense, but I don't think that happens.

Larry, I know you are a very religious man, but I don't think even you would be able to say a powerful enough prayer to get UK to reach the Bama game undefeated. Would love to be wrong on this one, but if the Cats win, I'm going to put on my parka and hike down to hades.

I may be a bit of a UofL homer, but I'm still a realist about 90% of the things we discuss on here. Louisville is not a good football team. I don't think UK is that great either, but I do think they are better than UofL. The Cards offense struggled at times against ISU's defense, and I know for a fact that UK's defense is better than that. UL's defense is UL's defense. I would love to be wrong and have UL win, I just don't see it happening.

Both teams will be pumped up for this game. But after a few series from both teams. Things will settle down, and UK will take control. Hope for no injurys GO CATS:jump::banana::popcorn:

Cat, I'm afraid the Gators are the class in the nation, but the Cats play well at home against good teams and I'm pulin for them, I don't pray for a win never have even for Bama, I just pray to Jesus to let me be happy.
