September 6, 200917 yr UofL played well on defense, holding ISU to 100 yards. UofL piled up 424 yards on offense, but only managed to score 30 points. Justin Burke had the jitters early and the team comitted 13 penalties. Not a great performance by the Cards. They're gonna have their hands full in Commonwealth in two weeks.
September 6, 200917 yr Good for UL. They scored 4 more points against ISU than Quincy did. Missouri State beat Quincy 70-3. Just saying. Heard Kragthorpe was not too happy after the game. Not exactly the night many had hoped for in front of a bunch of recruits. Far from a sellout and the boo birds were out.

September 6, 200917 yr The boo birds will be out until Kragthorpe is gone. JMO. IMO I think your old coach could have a better season with this team. People can say what they want about him but he sure could coach and teach a team to win. Can't really say that about Kragthorpe.

Can't really say that about Kragthorpe. Petrino was far from a perfect model of character, but he could coach. We have the exact opposite now. I commend Krag for what he's tried to do off the field, but in no way has this program moved forward ON the field since he's been here.
September 6, 200917 yr Ugly ugly ugly. I went to the restroom right after we retook the lead. While in line one guy shouts "Burke stinks" then shortly followed by "No Kragthorpe stinks" which received an ovation and shortly followed by a "Bring back Cooper". I think Kragthorpe now has less than 10% of fans supporting him, that doesn't mean the rest of the fans are going to be vocal about it but he has little wiggle room for any mistakes. Unless Louisville beats Kentucky, which I don't expect to happen, I can hardly see a situation where he will be here next season. If there is anything good to come out of the game it is that we have shown a lot of weaknesses, and that can be a good thing if you put your work in to improve upon them.
