MJAlltheWay24
I am actually coming back in to town this weekend, but I'm not sure that I will be attending. They really don't do much for me.
Blue Magic
I am actually coming back in to town this weekend, but I'm not sure that I will be attending. They really don't do much for me. Not for me either. Just an excuse to have a day off of school. I choose usually not to attend the actual event on the river especially when I can avoid the crowds and traffic when I can get a perfectly fine view on my HDTV. RockPride
I have been to the EBN fireworks a few times while in Cincinnati over Labor Day weekend. That said, they aren't as good as Thunder over Louisville, so I don't make a point to make it up there for them, unless something else calls me to do so. HammerTime
I never go to them. Doesn't really interest me that much. The traffic is not even close to worth it.
ColonelCrazy
I agree that it's not a great event to "go to". It is enjoyable if you're able to go to a buddy's house with a great view, though. Unfortunately for me this year, I don't think that's happenin'.
gametime
Party at my house. Best part is watching the traffic jam after the show...

NHS BIG DADDY
Party at my house. Best part is watching the traffic jam after the show... I really dont drive anywhere on that day. Terrible traffic and if you leave you can never find another spot on the street to park. If I go anywhere on fireworks day my butt is walking. Big Slick
Didn't somebody have some good pictures from this event last year?
jahearme
I'm trying to convince my wife that we need to stay up there an extra night (going to the UK/Miami game) to watch them. She's never been and we don't get it on TV where we live.
Blue Magic
I'm trying to convince my wife that we need to stay up there an extra night (going to the UK/Miami game) to watch them. She's never been and we don't get it on TV where we live. I guess if you've never seen them you might as well go out of your way to, but the fact that I've seen them every single year, whether on TV, on the river, or at a friends house, just doesn't interest me at all anymore. Fireworks are cool for like a second until I realize they're all the same. :idunno:
