HDTV

Anyone else got this? Personally I think it's a joke. I thankfully still have Directv but I tried to watch the HD box just to see how it works and it's a joke. I would be watching it and the channel would fade out, and comeback on later in the evening. I for one don't like anyone else?

Your kidding right. HDTV might be the greatest thing ever invented.

The ONLY thing that sucks about it is when you are in a bar with HD and non-HD TV's since HD is always on a few seconds delay.

We have Comcast cable and the HDTV is awesome! The picture never goes out and it's wonderful. Looks like there's an issue with DirecTV, not the HDTV for you Devilman.

Later.

We have HDTV with the local cable company and it is awesome. I can't watch tv when it is not in HD.

I love UK hoops, but all of their games in NKY are on a non HD channel, and it's terrible.

In Lexington, that same channel has them in HD.

I think they were in HD at the end of the season, although I can't remember. It's WKYT, I believe.

And back to the original thread topic -- HD TV is absolutely great.

Either you don't have the proper TV or cables or your blind, that is the only explination. HD is awesome, plain and simple. I hate to watch a Reds game without it now.

HDTV is great. I currently have Dish Network, but as soon as I can afford it, I'll be switching to Direct TV and getting the NFL Sunday Ticket Superfan package.

HD is awesome!

I'm betting he isn't using an HD TV...

That's what I thought Boucher. HD is awesome! Games aren't the same without it. One of my gripes with Direct TV/HD is that I have the HD package but there are all kinds of HD channels I don't get.

Once upon a time I couldn't tell what all the fuss was about... It all looked the same to me. Then I was watching a Celtics/Bulls game in HD. I watched it for roughly an hour, and decided to turn it on in standard definition to see if I could tell any difference.

It was night and day. I was sold from that point on.

I only have one HDTV in my house, but I'd love to upgrade them all.
