It's a coin flip of when and if he will be ruled eligible. I just can't find a reason in the bylaws to keep from not playing, that doesn't mean the KHSAA can't.

 

You should know better since you seem to be good at quoting their rules. The way I read their rule, there could definitely be an issue since its in the same school year. Further down in the rule, it talks about same school year transfers.

I'm pretty good at quoting the bylaws, but I am not very good at predicting what will be done about eligibility.

TC4L, I wasn't saying Carter was being used as a pawn. I was making a generalized statement about how people want to bicker about transfers always being something to try and stick it to their school. Making an issue they truly know nothing about. The only thing the Carter issue and the one I am involved with is that not many know the true story but claim to know all and spread vicious rumors that do nothing but hurt people, especially the kids.

I agree but this really has alot of people upset including his Family, Coaches,and Friends so the people that spread these vicious rumors and others really need to realize that they do nothing but hurt the kids in these situations they read the stuff that is said. People need to understand that they are talking about someone and someones child! Some people just need to use alittle common sense! Im sorry I seem so snappy, it just upsets me to see people talk about a childs life like it's a game!

You are right I don't know anything about the Carter situation, the only thing I was saying that it should be a main concern is the student. We need to protect and take care of the children and not just throw them away. Sometimes football is all a kid has and that should be celebrated where ever he is at.
