They divide it up (five without pads/five with pads) to acclimate the player to the heat as he completes the ten practices. But I don't see the ten practice rule being specifically about the heat. You could possibly be correct, I made the first post from memory, and then quoted the Bylaw. But, doesn't state that the player has to have 10 practices with the team that he is playing on. It says he must have 10 practices before he can compete against other schools. I honestly don't know what the intent is with the rule.

Everyone needs to be mindful of the rules before posting in this thread.

Transfer papers will have to be filled out by Greenup and then sent to Ashland for their signature. I think Ashland has 10 days to fill out their part and send it to KHSAA, from there they will have a couple of weeks to make a ruling and then mail it back to Greenup. Unless things have changed the ruling from KHSAA has to come through the postal service therefore possibly adding a couple of days to the ruling. I wouldnt expect to see him playing for Greenup for several weeks or so. Hopefully everything will get expedited and we will see this young man playing football somewhere soon.

He was not kicked off, I cant say why he transfered, but he was not kicked off the football team.

I've just been told by a very good source that Carter doesn't want to play football at Greenup County. What are your thoughts on that Coupon21? Have you heard anything?

Folks, we need to all take a step back and get behind the young man. 99% of us have no clue. Football might be normalcy for this young man. It might be the ONLY normalcy for this young man.
