If they did do something wrong and it comes out then I have a problem. If Coach Calipari is caught doing something wrong or even charged with doing something wrong then I will be very worried. Show me where I said I don't care what Calipari does as long as he doesn't get caught. You can't do it. What you are saying about me is completely inaccurate. I said that if he and the other coaches did nothing wrong or didn't know anything shady was going on then you can't fault them. I have no idea what if Calipari or any of the other coaches did anything wrong or illegal. Apparantly you don't either unless you have some information to share with us.
August 31, 200917 yr LMB, you're wasting your time trying to convince those that have already made their minds up about Calipari's past or future. 10-15 years down the road when UK has a few national championships and zero investigations or penalities, there will still be those who say, "Well, they've had success but they still have a crooked coach...he just didn't get caught." You won't get that from me. If this exact scenario plays out like you wrote, then I will be the first to say I was wrong and that Calipari did a great job of rehabilitating his image and his career. Now, if it plays out like I said, I won't say a word. The same way I didn't say a word about Billy G being wrong for UK........until now. I prefer using silence and a smile on my face instead of saying "I told you so.", anyways.
August 31, 200917 yr I don't like Mark Story. For years, every other article he wrote was a trashing of Rich Brooks...as if anyone could have taken over at UK when Brooks did and won fast. Scholarship reduction, bad team, tough conference, etc...at the same time, he hardly even hinted that Tubby Smith might deserve some criticism for the direction of the basketball program. One guy inherits a disaster, and you rip him apart for not winning immediately. The other inherits a dynasty and heads in the wrong direction and he doesn't warrant just a little criticism. He's not a good writer, IMO. I rarely read anything from him. I long for the days of Chuck Culpepper. Amen brother! Story is a hack, period. His handling of Rich Brooks should have gotten him fired years ago. One of the worst there is in a dying profession.

UC - 5 total - 56, 59, 78, 88, 98 Kansas - 5 total - 57, 60, 72, 88, 06 UK - 4 total - 52, 76, 88, 89 UofL - 3 total - 57, 96, 98 UCLA - 3 total - 81, 87, 98 Duke - 1 total - 72 Where's all the outrage about UC and Kansas being dirty? Other than Duke (just for you, PP), every other school on that list has more and/or more recent infractions than UK.

September 1, 200917 yr I hope you are laughing if that day comes when UK has to vacate tourney wins because Calipari hasn't been proven to do anything wrong. I hope you are still supportive of him because according to his track record....it is bound to happen again. I'm banking on him not getting caught this time.

September 1, 200917 yr I totally think Mark Story contradicts himself, after Alabama Birmingham beat us in the 2004 NCAA tourney he had an article in the Herald stating if Tubby didn't get us back to Final Four soon his time was gonna expire very soon at UK. Tubby never delivered on the Final Four berth and now if you read between the tea leaves Story I suppose is saying he never should have left--CONTRADICTING! Im tired of the Herald writers trying to make us aa fans look bad over Tubby when they wrote articles questioning his operation as all of us did, they seem to be taking the tabloid route or wanting shock value!
