August 18, 200917 yr Author Favre was my favorite player, and because of that the Packers were my favorite team. In the past couple years I have grown tired of Favre, but I'm still a Packers fan for whatever reason.

He didn't single handily do that, there is no way to back that statement up. Plus, if it also weren't for him the Jets wouldn't have been in a position to even make the playoffs.
