tenaciousD Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 On TNT...Man, I had forgotten about how great of a movie this is.
Mack The Knife Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 My initial viewing. Love the soundtrack.
cooperstown Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Great storyline and overall good movie. I'm just not a big Matthew McConaughey fan. Wish someone like Dennis Quaid would have had his role.
Mom55 Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Love this movie, watched the other night on TNT and then put my copy in and watched again.
Ram Fan04 Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Watching it as well. Great movie! It's cool to see all of Huntington in a movie when I'm only a half hour away from there.
titletownclown Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 I watched it again a couple days ago. Awesome movie.
The Scribe Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Does it bother anyone else when people nit pick the facts of a factually-based movie? The fire trucks were headed into town in the movie, the crash happened during the day and not night, the players didnt go to the scene, etc. "It was a good movie except..." Of course, this comes from the guy who doesn't watch Field of Dreams because they had Ray Liotta batting right handed

The Scribe Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 In the movie, they are shown actually heading into town instead of out of town going to the wreck scene. When the movie came out, I read an article from someone associated with Marshall praising the movie then picking apart all of the subtle inaccuracies.
stick1 Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 My moms first love was a QB in the crash. He grew up in Louisa KY and graduated from Russell High School. Roger Vanover was his name. No crash there might not be any stick or lil stick.
