Awesome catch and awesome accomplishment by Buehrle. I love watching him pitch. He is one of the quickest workers in the game.

Funny how he pitches a perfect game but the 1st thing you think is what a catch in the clutch! That was awesome! That was the only hard hit ball I saw the whole game.

There was a lined shot past third base in the 8th that was foul by like an inch. It just about knocked the third base umpire down. The hitter then hit another line drive to third on the next pitch, but it went right at Gordon Beckham. Otherwise, there was very little good contact.

That is crazy. I wonder how many umpires have called more than one no-hitter.

Funny thing in his first no-hitter he faced only the minimum 27 batters as he walked a batter and then picked him off. Real close to to perfect games!!!

I think that is the 1st game that catcher has ever caught him and wow you have to give Ozzy credit for putting Wise in the game in the 9th!

Things like this happen all the time in sports... it freaks me out to no end.

We came so close to having two perfect games this year, with Juan Uribe blowing it with his error in Sanchez's no-hitter. In the modern era, there's never been two perfect games in the same season. Never even two perfect games within 365 days of each other.

Did I hear it right that this was only the 18th perfect game in MLB history? That is amazing when you think about it. They play around 2,500 regular season games every year in MLB, plus the postseason, and to only have it happen 18 times in all these years is truly remarkable. What a memorable moment this was!
