July 23, 200917 yr Wow you were quick, you beat me to it! But Congrats to Mark, already has one no hitter in his career, now he can add a perfect game against a tough Rays club. Great game Buehrle should get Dewayne Wise a VERY, VERY nice gift
July 23, 200917 yr The former Red made a very spectacular catch. Credit Ozzie for putting Wise in the game in the top of the ninth or we don't have a thread on Chicago's 5-1 win over the Rays.
July 23, 200917 yr Wow, too bad I was at work and didn't get to see it. Congrats to him though. Guy tosses a no-no a couple of seasons ago, now throws a perfect game. Buehrle has never been a 20 win, 5-10 loss guy, but when he has his stuff going he can be one of the best pitchers in baseball.
July 23, 200917 yr Great job, and congrats on the perfect game. Stellar pitching and even better defense behind him!
July 23, 200917 yr Anybody else think Dewayne Wise will be sporting a new set of wheels anytime soon?
July 23, 200917 yr Anybody else think Dewayne Wise will be sporting a new set of wheels anytime soon? At the least. Wow that was awesome.
July 24, 200917 yr The catch from Wise has to be Web Gem of the year thus far. The play by itself could probably earn it that honor, but giving the circumstances it should be a no contest.
July 24, 200917 yr Next year's ESPY, or will it be too far removed from recent memory when the time rolls around?
July 24, 200917 yr Great game! Awsome catch, Buehrle has always been one of my favorite pitchers, great for him.
July 24, 200917 yr Anybody see the ESPN clip of the Phillies in their clubhouse before their game watching it? Pretty cool.
