I only follow the UFC, so I'm hoping some others on this site that are total MMA fans can shed some light. What is the drug testing like in the other organizations? I've seen there fights and Shogun really sticks out. He looked to be a bit bigger, and much more aggressive, as well as Silva. It wouldn't have anything to do with stricter drug testing would it?:confused:

No drug testing in Japan at the time that PRIDE was going on.

 

The rumors of many being on juice is well documented, but Wand looked smaller because he cut weight and there is a slight difference in weight classes over there.

There is a reason Sylvia, Arlovski, and Coleman no longer fight in the UFC (although Coleman fought last night) and that is because they are no longer what they once were. Fedor is without question the worlds greatest heavyweight and probably the worlds best fighter period. All I am trying to say is there have been a long list of guys tabbed to come in and dominate the UFC from other organizations, and it just hasn't happened yet.

 

Add to that the dis-like of DW.

And as for GSP.. he proved to me that he is arguably (with silva of course), pound for pound the best fighter in the UFC.

He pretty much showed me he didn't deserve ANY. Classless act.. I've never been so disgusted by a fighter in my life.

Brock is doing what Max Baer did in the 30s, or whenever, but sportscenter or nobody else wants to say anything about that.

Because basically, they suck too bad to get paid.

I just heard an interview Dana White had on Opie and Anthony where he said the winner of Cain Velasquez/Shane Carwin will probably get a title shot against Brock Lesnar.

Also according to MMAWeekly.com the winner of Martin Kampmann/Mike Swick will probably fight Georges St. Pierre next.

He is extremely nice to fans. I met him at UFC 88 and he was great. He asked where my fiance and I were from and asked if we were having a good time. He actually spent a minute or two talking to us, much like he did to probably the hundreds of fans in front of us and behind us. Here is a picture of him and I at UFC 88.

 

His fists are massive.
