Curtis Turley is leaving a school after an extremely short stay. Stop me if you've heard this one before......

This will do nothing to help the tailspin that Warren East has been in for the last 12 seasons. They've lost their last 14 postseason games with no end in sight.

Curtis Turley doesn't seem to stay anywhere for a very long time. What's the deal?

How many schools has this guy been at? I am guessing 10-15 schools!

The more important question is why do these schools keep hiring him when it is obvious he isn't staying very long.

Exactly.

That was why this was an incredibly dumb move from the get go for East. My post from when he was hired:

Turley is certainly an excellent coach and would probably do a lot to help that program, but it's no guarantee that that success will come quickly and given his track record for leaving in a hurry, I don't know how good that fit really is.

Had Turley given 5 years to the program, he might have made an impact. Instead he bolted like he always does, and now the players have no continuity. That's how a losing program stays a losing program.

Where is he going now?

What schools has he coached?

He got his 600th win and got out of there.

Where is he going now?

Beats me. With any luck, he's done coaching. His act has grown very tired. He's a fly by night coach at this point.

What schools has he coached?

Berea, Daviess County, DuPont Manual, Graves County, Greenwood, Henderson County, Lexington Catholic, Lyon County, Shelby County, Warren Central, Warren East. I think that's it.

Is he related to Larry Brown?
