June 17, 200917 yr I am curious to see how the Patterson and Orton workout guru thing goes. If Orton gets to college level athleticism UK may be underated. He is a big piece of the puzzle. If Patterson gets more speed and quickness, lookout he will not only be a beast but a very fast beast.
June 17, 200917 yr Louisville not in the Top 25, however, I don't agree with. They should be in the top 25 on RP's coaching prestige alone.
June 17, 200917 yr I don't think that they will make the final four, but they ought to easily win the industrial league at the YMCA. Perdue was pretty solid last season and are supposed to be returning alot. They always seem to faulter late, so anything passed the sweet 16 is a success for them. BUT for a pre season pole, I'd say they're ranked pretty accurately anywhere from 6-12 or so.

June 17, 200917 yr UK in the top 10 is unreal after all has happen in the last few years and now all at once a top 10 team. That something else isn't it? UK went from a nobody to a somebody in a matter of a few weeks.:lol:Well,I'm happy for them and hope it continutes for the next 100 years.GO CATS!!!!!!!!!

June 17, 200917 yr Louisville not in the Top 25, however, I don't agree with. I agree. The Cardinals are a top 20 team IMHO.
June 18, 200917 yr On UofL, he didn't just ignore them. Critics will pounce on this poll. That's good. Keep clicking and ripping. That means you're interested. But trust me, trimming down to 25 is no easy task this season. There were at least a dozen teams that could have gone anywhere from 15 to 25: Louisville: The backcourt is back, but not having Earl Clark and Terrence Williams makes it hard to buy the Cards this early. Seems to me like he's just admitting its impossible to make an accurate top 25 five months before the first game is played.

Well really, that's the truth up to about a few weeks AFTER the first games are played. Texas, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Miami (FL), USC, Florida, Georgetown, and Wisconsin were all in the preseason Top 25, and out at the end. Four of them were out after a month. Four of those teams weren't even in the NCAA Tournament.
