June 18, 200917 yr How would that benefit the Wolves though? They have a potential star in Jefferson and a top 5 pick. Why would you give that up for a player that has little chance of resigning with you for the future? I read that Love and Jefferson struggle together. But I agree that giving up that pick woudl be way too much.

Why would you give that up for a player that has little chance of resigning with you for the future? In that instance no I don't see it as a benefit. But I wasn't talking about trading an All-Star for him.
June 18, 200917 yr I read that Love and Jefferson struggle together. But I agree that giving up that pick woudl be way too much. Which is why Love is supposedly being shopped around now. No way do they give up Jefferson. You cannot get equal value out of him. He's too good to trade for scrubs, and has really became good enough to swap for another star. He is a nice player though, I could see him as an All-Star.
June 18, 200917 yr Off topic, but all this talk about the Suns got me thinking how amazing it is that a team of Nash, Amare, Joe Johnson, Marion, Q, Boris Diaw, and Barbosa couldn't even get to the Finals.

Diaw and Johnson were traded for each other, and never were on the same team. That roster (minus Diaw) was only together for one season. advancing to the WCF vs. the Spurs who won the title. I think that if they would have kept that roster together they would have won a title.

I wasn't sure about Diaw, but even if for one only one season, that's way too much talent to fall short of the Finals...
June 19, 200917 yr Rumors of Yao to Cleveland... He has one guaranteed year left on his contract with Houston, including a player option for the 2010-11 season.
June 19, 200917 yr Rumors of Yao to Cleveland... He has one guaranteed year left on his contract with Houston, including a player option for the 2010-11 season. I doubt that happens, and Yao himself said he hadn't heard anything of it. And just because Cleveland wants too doesn't mean the Rockets will do it.
June 19, 200917 yr Rumors of Yao to Cleveland... He has one guaranteed year left on his contract with Houston, including a player option for the 2010-11 season. Most likely won't happen. You never know, but I don't see the Rockets getting rid of him. Don't know how it work work out if it happened though. Cleveland might dominate or that might make them worse..

June 19, 200917 yr Ben Gordon may have received a promise from the Pistons for an offer worth $11 million per year, the Chicago Tribune reports... I expect him and maybe Boozer to be in Detroit next season. Gordon is as good as there, IMO. No one can or will top that offer.

Rumored that Nash wants rid of Shaq... _____ Al Jefferson is not being traded to the Suns with the sixth overall pick for Amare Stoudemire. _____

Rumored that Nash wants rid of Shaq... _____ Al Jefferson is not being traded to the Suns with the sixth overall pick for Amare Stoudemire. _____ Wizards will get Amare. I have a feeling about that one. Suns are shopping Amare, the Wizards are shopping Jamison and the 5th pick, it's a match made in heaven. Actually I saw this today Suns get- Ben Wallace, Sasha Pavlovic, (players from the Wizards) Wizards get- Big Z, Amare Cavs get- Jamison, Shaq. That would be next to impossible though because of the contracts coming to the Wizards.
June 19, 200917 yr Nets will try to move Carter and the two years and $33.6 million left on his deal to the Cavs. The Nets would have to take Ben Wallace and Sasha Pavlovic in return...I would love to see that deal happen as Carter is my favorite player in the league and I think he only has a few years left in him and I would like to see him contend for a title with LBJ. T-Mac wants to go to the Bulls but the Bulls have no interest.
