Outside of 3 feet he isn't a good offensive player. KG is more of a PF but Boozer would guard Perkins. I'm guessing Howard develops some moves or else he wasted a summer.

If it were possible they'd take it. Rich Bucher has said that the Wizards have offered: Antawn Jamison, Mike James and the #5 pick to Cleveland for: Delonte West, Ben Wallace, Sasha Pavlovic, and Darnell Jackson. Don't really like that move. He also said that besides Shaq the Cavs have inquired about T-Mac and Amare. Now I don't know about McGrady, but Amare would be nice. Unfortunately that just doesn't seem likely to me.

If Boston wants to get rid of Rondo and Allen, why not go after Chris Paul? How about this trade? Boston gets: Chris Paul, Morris Peterson, James Posey and Tyson Chandler New Orleans gets: Ray Allen, Rajon Rondo, Mikki Moore, Brian Scalabrine, Gabe Pruitt New Orleans gets rid of Paul who they can't afford and can't keep when the time comes. They get rid of Chandler, whom they already tried to deal. And, they shed some money in Peterson and Posey. On the upside, they get almost 30 million in expiring contracts and they get a talented backcourt in Rondo and Allen to keep them somewhat competitive in the process. Boston gets a franchise PG for the long-term. A couple of solid wing players (I doubt Celtic fans have forgot how helpful Posey was in their title run), and an athletic center. In short, they solidify the PG position for the next decade, and make their team better, giving them a better shot at another title run. If New Orleans knows they can't keep Paul, and they're interested in shedding payroll, this seems like a great deal to me.

Ray Allen was the savior of that deal from a dollar standpoint. Might be the best value they could get, but I think they would have to throw in either Perkins, Powe or maybe Big Baby and take some one out for the Hornets to even think about it.

Historically, PG's have tended to be a lot better when they play with Phil, in the triangle, alongside Jordan or Kobe. I sure wouldn't overpay for Brown based on a few good playoff games with that in mind. Smush Parker didn't look too bad when he was LA's PG. BJ Armstrong in Chicago. Those guys don't fare as well when they go elsewhere.
