How many wins did it decrease?

The 1st trade was +6 for the Jazz and -5 for NJ.

The 2nd trade was +2 for the Jazz and -7 for Portland, surprisingly....

I guess they are really down on Boozer.

Well in the 2nd trade you did give away one of the best young front lines in the league. LaMarcus Aldridge is on his way up in the league, I think he could work his way into becoming one of the top post players in the league. Oden, well is Oden. Lots of potential, lots of injuries.

I agree that Odom and Aldridge are up and coming, and I think it would be a bad trade for the Trail Blazers for the future....but Boozer is Boozer, I thought it would be a positive one season...

Boozer/Roy/Fernandez would be sick, too....

I wouldn't want Boozer over Aldridge. Maybe if I needed one game or one series, but if I had a team I would want L.A.

And Roy/Fernandez/Aldridge will be sick starting next season, IMO. If the Lakers don't win the West I think they may have a shot if they continue to mature. If Oden evolves the Blazers are the next dynasty in the NBA, there's no reason for them to break that unit up either, Paul Allen has enough money to pay most of the NBA's salary.

Like I said, it would be a bad trade for Portland.

That's awesome.

I got Vince Carter and Eduardo Najera going to the Jazz for Carlos Boozer and Matt Harpring.

I also got Greg Oden, LaMarcus Aldridge, and Martell Webster to the Jazz for Carlos Boozer and Kosta Koufos.

I doubt either is realistic.

It is cool...but it makes you appreciate how difficult trading is in the NBA. It's hard to get one through.

No dioubt. I've tried to make good solid trades, but they didn't go through for cap reasons. Alot more complex than saying I'll give you Player A for Player B.

How about this wonderful Trade Machine deal.................

Cavs recieve- Chris Bosh & Shane Battier. +11 Wins

Raptors recieve- Ben Wallace (who they buy out and save money). -11 Wins

Rockets get- Sasha Pavlovic and JJ Hickson. -1 Win

Hey I can dream can't I?:D

What about this deal ESPN is reporting is a possibility?

Timberwolves get Amare Stoudemire

Suns get Al Jefferson and #6 pick in the draft.

That is a steal for the Suns. Jefferson isn't Amare, but he's one of the best young post players in the league, at #6 they could get a variety of players. Amare will not stick in Phoenix after this season so this is the maximum value they could get.

Wow. T-Wolves must be insane if this were to go through. I personally don't think Amare is that good besides as a 1-on-1 player. And I assume this would solidy Shaq leaving.

The more I think about it, the Suns could be amazing if this and the Shaq trades were to go down. It would them good young talent and a lot of cap space.

I still think the Wizards are much bigger players in the Amare sweepstakes. They can offer Jamison and the #5 pick. Amare has stated that it is one of his teams of choice. Sign and trade opportunity. I could not see the Timberwolves doing this. The Wizards make sense.

Amare is a Free Agent in 2010 so I'm not sure why a team would take a chance on him unless they were 100% sure they could resign him after next season.

That's why the Wizards make sense. He has already stated that he wants to sign with either Washington or the Knicks in 2010.

Anyone makes sense. They get to rent him for the year sell some tickets and after that have a lot of money to use to sign someone good hopefully him.

How would that benefit the Wolves though? They have a potential star in Jefferson and a top 5 pick. Why would you give that up for a player that has little chance of resigning with you for the future?
