July 9, 200917 yr http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4314637 "The Toronto Raptors and Dallas Mavericks agreed in principle Wednesday night to a complicated three team sign-and-trade including the Memphis Grizzlies that will land Shawn Marion in Dallas, two sources close to the process told ESPN.com. The teams have scheduled a trade call for Thursday. While all of the details have yet to emerge, the principles are set. Marion will be heading to Dallas after signing a five-year, $39 million deal according to sources. Several other players including the Raptors' Kris Humphries, and the Mavericks' Jerry Stackhouse, Devean George and Antoine Wright are part of the trade according to sources. The Grizzlies will be getting Stackhouse and cash, sources said. George and Wright will end up in Toronto, according to the same sources. Humphries is on his way to Dallas. "
July 9, 200917 yr Marion should help Dallas, especially if they can get back to playing a little more up-tempo. Plus he is a look-down defender. Great move for Dallas!
July 9, 200917 yr http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4315370 Varejao agrees to stay with Cavs "Varejao's contract is worth $42.5 million over the six years, and the final year is only partially guaranteed. Incentives could push the total amount to $50 million."
July 9, 200917 yr According to Gary Tanguay of Comcast, Grant Hill may be a Celtic and Glen Davis may be playing in San Antonio. IMO the Celtics need help downlow and that won't help. They have to star big men that are more finess and like the jumper, Davis gives them that bruiser along with Perkins. Grant Hill would be a great back up to Pierce and give them more depth there. It is a toss up IMO between whether to keep davis or sign Hill.

July 9, 200917 yr Grant Hill brings them nothing IMO. I think Hill still has some game left, and can still contribute. He is a smart player. But either way, it's down to the Suns, Knicks, and Celtics for him, and most predictions have him going to NY or Phoenix because he won't start in Boston.
July 9, 200917 yr Any updates on the Mavs-Raptors-Grizzlies deal? I know that Toronto is trying to free up some cash to give Hedo another player.
