Is anybody actually watching the game? Would the Reds have turned a double play if not for the throwing error?

It is on the Nats network.

Listening to the game made it sound like Rosales was to blame on the double play.

Grounder to short, Gonzalez flipped to Phillips for 1 out at 2nd, and Phillips was slid into VERY hard which caused a short throw to first. Rosales tried to scoop it instead of blocking it even though they had no chance at turning the double play. In turn, the ball got past Rosales which allowed the go ahead run to score.

So you would trade Votto, Volquez and E-5 for Ramirez, Haren, and Bradley?
I don't think that is what he was saying. If I understand him correctly, he was talking about this year only. There isn't a GM that would make that trade because the Reds' guys are much younger and cheaper.

I didn't see it, but I would hope he doesn't have a lot of starts left. 5 hits for the Reds today, but they still easily could have won. If Masset was available he should have started the 8th, but I understand wanting to use other guys. How many hits did they have for the series? It would have been even less if not for blowing a lead in the 9th yesterday.
