5wide Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 Lakers in 5 or 6... I think their road to the finals has toughened this team up. That was the question...could they toughen up to a championship level or would they wilt? Maybe Orlando will play out of it's mind and win the title. But, I just don't see them presenting any significant problems for LA. I think it takes a tough, physical, relentless defensive minded team to really get to LA. That isn't Orlando's style.

When will you ever learn....
stick1 Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Lakers are probably better but Orl can shoot the ball well enough to beat anybody. I think the bodies LA has to throw at Orl will allow them to guard the three which isn't good for Orl.
HammerTime Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 I like the way the Lakers matchup on D every position other than Center. Bynum will probably foul out in 10 minutes every game.
TheDeuce Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 IMO, Orlando doesn't have a chance if Dwight gets in foul trouble...
HammerTime Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Odom and Ariz have the length and athletic ability to stay with Turk and Lewis. Kobe can check Pietrus easily and PG is a wash. If they learned one thing from the Cavs series it's not to help off of Howard so much. Orlando was shooting lights out all series because they were wide open.
Big Game Player Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Lakers should win this and I want them to. I am really liking Howard on both ends and wouldn't get totally upset if Magic won. This may be his only chance but I think he will have others. I have been rooting for them every since the Shaq and Penny years but I want to see Kobe win one without Shaq so Lets Go Lakers!!!
