I know what Google is, thanks scribe, thanks so much and I agree it is a wonderful tool. I will check it out, thanks!

Not for sure if that second statement is a question or what exactly?

Famous athletes and other public figures are fair game for criticism. You may not like it, but that's how it is. It's the price you pay for fame and the good things that accompany it. You probably didn't cover it in your high school or college classes, unless you took a class on media law.

And like Scribe said, nobody's really even being all that critical about him. We're just curious because of how tight-lipped everyone in the Reds organization has been about it. He's arguably the best player on the team, and he's missed more than two weeks with mystery malady. As fans, we want to know when he'll be back and helping the Reds win.

In the end, it still does not make it right or give us that right, bottom line!

Um, yeah, it does give us that right. Whether you think it's right or not is immaterial.

Not pointing the finger at anyone on this board. People buy a ticket or support a team and feel they have a right to know from head to toe what is going on. I have no problem with the Reds being quiet. Joey's well being is more important than me knowing the 411. Those people who have to know what is going on is the reason pro athletes do not like talking or signing autographs for the general public.

Extremely well said!

What gives us that right? I just do not get that @ all!

He won't come back when he gets off the DL either. No time table. Really need him back in the lineup asap.

This is possibly the weirdest thing I can recall as a Reds fan.

Dusty said he will most likely NOT be ready at the end of his DL stint.

I hope Joey gets everything taken care of and can come back and the help the Reds!

Some wild rumors out there right now in the media.

I think I know what you are saying and if it is true I hope he just gets it over with and moves on.

There are some very crazy rumors going on. I have heard a lot of things just on 700. I don't think it is going away anytime soon.

No doubt... Crazy situation..
