Track the Reds (Week 8)

I don't think he did and even if he did he didn't have control.

The ball was in his glove as he went by the bag. Votto should have been called out. They only way you can call him safe is if the ball is dropped, he bobbled it as he took it out of his glove.

I agree.

That's a good thing. Votto isn't "wasted" and hopefully he is feeling better today than he was yesterday.

I don't think it was, but you are right that he went by the bag. I really don't think he touched the bag or had control of the ball.

It's a moot point. We'll agree to disagree

I don't understand why pitchers don't just pitch Micah Owings on the outside corner. He steps right towards third and can't hit a ball on the outter half

Someone really needs to explain why this guy was in Louisville as long as he was instead of McDonald.

:thumb: Most of us were calling for it for weeks. For some reason the suits didn't see it that way.

I know. I in no way think I know what it takes to run the Reds or that I can evaluate talent like they can. But what did they see in McDonald?

“I stayed loose,” Harang said. “Every 15, 20 minutes, I’d go in the batting cage and make 12, 15 tosses to stay loose. Toward the end when we didn’t know what was going to happen, I had to push a little harder to go back out there.”

For 2 hours. Really? He should have been shut down after about 20 minutes.
